I enjoyed the book and movie. It had been a really long time since I had read the book when I went to the movie, so I didn't compare a whole lot - but I did think they did a great job in the movie of portraying the town, school, and Bella's house just the way I had imagined it. I thought the majority of the cast was very well chosen, too (although I do think that Jacob should have been played by someone looking more Native American - like his friends.) But all in all, it was good entertainment (a bit cheesy for me at times, though.) My favorite character in the movie was Bella's dad...he seemed a little deeper than other one-dimensional characters. How about you? Who was your favorite character? Did you like who was chosen for the cast? What do you think they did well with?
I liked it a lot. I don't really analize the characters that much, but your right about Jacob. I'm not sure how they are going to make him look older but still be him in the next movie. I think Carslie looked the most stone like, and I liked it better than the others, but Mom says he looked to much like stone. She said it was unlikely that anyone in the hospital wouldn't have noticed. I thought the others looked a little too human.
