A Secret I Can't Keep

I love music. I mostly like classical or light rock and most of the music I listen to is religious. Every year my church comes up with about ten songs for the young women. It is a more classical CD and I love to sing along. I also have a CD named Not Your Mother's LDS Music meaning that it isn't hymns, but light rock religious. The songs are by many different artists, and I have found I like the artist Cherie Call the best. Her songs have a catchy spirit about them and I find myself singing them on the way to and from school. I really like the song called A Secret I Can't Keep.
/
I have a secret that I just can't keep
I have a light that i cannot turn out
I have a face that wears a constant smile
And people ask me what this smile is about
/
Somebody loves me and knows my name
I'm filled with joy that I can't contain
Somebody loves me the way that I am
And it's something I just can't keep all to myself
/
It's not the kind of love that falls apart
It's not the kind of love that fades away
My name is written on a perfect heart
And I have been saved by Amazing Grace, because
/
Somebody loves me and knows my name
I'm filled with joy that I can't contain
Somebody loves me the way that I am
And it's something I just can't keep all to myself
/
It's the worst kept secret in town
It's like keeping the sun from a room with fifty windows
And I don't even want to try to pull the shutters down
This love is all around me
/
I have a secret that I just can't keep
I have a light that i cannot turn out
I wake each morning with a heart so full
And every night I fall asleep so sound
/
Somebody loves me and knows my name
I'm filled with joy that I can't contain
Somebody loves me the way that I am
And it's something I just can't keep all to myself.
/
This chorus just resounds in my head and lets me know I am a daughter of God. I am so glad I know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going.
