The Lost Princess-Prologue

It's amazing how time flies even when you aren't booked 24/7. I'm sorry I haven't blogged, by I have found something to fill up space.
Well, I made up a play based on some friends of mine. I have decided to post it here on my blog, a scene at a time, sometimes two. I will have it under the heading Lost Princess, so if you put Lost Princess in the search option at the top of the screen, you will be able to find all of the story I have posted.
In this story there are multiple gods, I do not believe in multiple gods, but it is needed for the story, as you will find out in the end.

The Lost Princess
Prologue

Narrator- In a world of ten kingdoms ruled ten gods. Each god had a special kingdom of their own, but all of the gods ruled all the kingdoms, never the less. There were five gods and five goddesses; Noella, queen and goddess of birth, Ambarisa, king and god of the sky, Amora, goddess of love, Pratt, the trickster god, Akili, goddess of wisdom, Thanatos, god of the dead, Wakana, goddess of music, Murdock, god of the sea, AlegĂam, goddess of happiness, and Killeen, god of war.
Noella watched over the kingdom of Eustace, there the mortals were ruled over by royalty who feared and listened to their goddess. The royalty all had names that started with E. The queen’s name was Elyse, the king’s Eric, and their son’s (the prince’s) Edward. Royalty always wanted to marry royal blood at all cost, so Prince Edward married his cousin Erin. The Queen was old but she had finally gotten pregnant again, and at about the same time as Erin did. Erin was due before the Queen, so the Queen sent the royal midwife to her. But while the midwife was away the queen began to give labor. They called in the best midwife from the town nearby. That night the Queen had twins and all were happy.
With all the commotion no one noticed when the midwife wrapped the older of the twins in a blanket and slipped away. The guards at the door just thought she was going to wash the baby, but the guards at the gate realized she was getting away with the princess and chased after her. Despite their best efforts she eluded them. By the time they got back to the castle, the Queen had realized that one of her babies was gone. The guards told her they had tried to stop the midwife, but had failed. The Queen made all who knew that she had given birth to twins swear on the goddess Noelle that they would never tell anyone what had happened that night, and instead would say that the Queen had only given birth to one child.
